The Decade: The 80’s
I touched on this earlier in the blog but it needs to be mentioned again as it was so prominent throughout the Spring/Summer fashion weeks. 80’s fashion was separated into two distinct looks…all out, glam, disco queen who would be wearing PVC vinyl dresses, nipped at the waist, with huge, oversized ruffles. There is no such thing as overkill when attempting to recreate this look. The second look is the casual approach. Think slogan crop tops with high waisted mom jeans and ankle boots or sneakers. Whichever look it is you decide to go for you will be bang on trend.

If you are going to only buy one statement piece of clothing this season then lean towards purchasing a power trouser suit. First and foremost they won’t date and secondly there are a 1001 different options to choose from. Whether you want to make a statement in bold colour (We recommend lavender) or you want to go for a more neutral approach you won’t be disappointed as this look can be revisited year after year.
should the past few years of leggings and track pants have destroyed your feminine fashion soul, rejoice in the pencil-skirt comeback. This time around they are longer-lined and therefore more flattering. They will replace your full-skirted midis for the time-being but are always worth keeping for the future.
