London Fashion Week is definitely one of our favorites: its youthful spirit that knows no limits makes it different from all other FW, and it also makes it the perfect setting for those who want to express their creativity 100% , and for people like us, who like to research what’s next in fashion. These are our 3 favorite trends for Spring Summer 2018!
Coordinate my life. There’s one thing we’re already sure of: women’s outfits will be very thoughtfully coordinated next year: we will see completely coordinated outfits, from head to toe. All you have to do is choose a color or a print that feels like it’s just right for you, and voila, just go, and search all the pieces you need to create your look. Brands like Burberry and Pringle of Scotland were some of our favorites to bring this trend to the catwalk, and we haven’t really decided between check prints and sand colored palettes yet: what will be taking up all the space in our closet next season…? Perhaps both? ? This checked 2 piece style would be perfect for this look going into the new year.
Heavy metal. If you think silver and gold were just a trend for Fall Winter, well, the news is that shiny fabrics are still stealing the show on Spring Summer catwalks. So, what’s new? Well, this time they come in many colors and shades, you will find these colors on accessories as well as clothing, and in some cases, you will even be able to use them for a total look! Metallic colors are great for giving your evening a magical touch, but if you match them with the right thing, they can become essential for your day, too. This Shiny bubble jacket would be great as the mercury begins to rise as it is very lightweight but still warm enough to wear in early Spring.
Show me some skin. If the first thing you thought of when reading this sentence was a sexy look, made of deep necklines and mini skirts… Well, that’s most definitely not what we mean. Designers in London showed us that the new way to look sensual is not to completely uncover, actually, it’s all about covering up: they encourage us to stay true to ourselves, without forgetting to show overlooked parts of our body, like our back, our waist, our shoulders, or the higher part of our décolleté, close to our neck. The trend dictates small cuts that leave a lot of space for our imagination… And we really love the idea! This oversized cold shoulder knitted jumper is exactly what we are getting at.
